Fight Against Winter
Every winter we buy blankets and warm clothes in bulk and hand them out ourselves to families in northern Bangladesh and around Chattogram.
Winter here is short, but for a family without proper bedding or warm clothes it is genuinely dangerous. Fight Against Winter is what we do about that every year.
How it works
- Volunteers find the communities that need it, by asking people who live there rather than guessing
- We buy blankets and warm clothing in bulk so the money goes further
- Volunteers hand things out in person. We do not subcontract it.
It is the simplest thing we run and one of the most useful. Money given in October becomes a blanket in December.
