We help underprivileged students stay in school by covering fees, books and uniforms, and pairing them with a mentor.

We are a volunteer-run foundation based in Chattogram. We help students stay in school, talk openly about menstrual health, hand out blankets in winter, teach young people how to stay safe online, and help them find work.

Our programmes
Every one of these started with volunteers noticing a problem in their own city and deciding to do something about it.
Health and hygiene
Menstrual Hygiene Management
Awareness sessions in schools, safe sanitary products, cycle rallies and marathons, all aimed at making menstrual health something people will actually talk about.
Winter relief
Fight Against Winter
Every winter we buy blankets and warm clothes in bulk and hand them out ourselves to families in northern Bangladesh and around Chattogram.

The work, in numbers
We have been running programmes in Chattogram and further afield since 2011. School support, menstrual health campaigns, winter distributions, cyber safety workshops and career events.

Join us
There are five ways into the Foundation, from turning up at one event to running a programme yourself. All of them start with the same form.
Membership
OngoingMembers carry the Foundation. You take part in decisions, help shape which programmes we run next, and are expected at the general meetings. Most members came to us as volunteers first.
Volunteership
A few hours a week, or one eventThe most direct way in, and the one we need most. Mentor a student, help at a winter distribution, run a stall at a campaign. No particular background needed. You do need to turn up when you said you would.
Internship
Three months, part timeA supervised placement on a live programme, for students and recent graduates. Real responsibility, a named supervisor, and a reference at the end that says what you actually did.
Fellowship
Six to twelve monthsFor people ready to lead rather than assist. A fellow takes a programme or a campaign and runs it, with the Foundation behind them. Fewer places than the other routes, and a harder conversation to get in.
Workshop presenter
Per sessionCome and teach something. Online safety, CV writing, interview practice, menstrual health, whatever you know well enough to stand in front of a room and explain. We will find you the room and the students.

Some of us started this in Chattogram years ago. Some have gone on to work in technology, NGOs, education and business, and still show up when we need them. And some are running the programmes right now.

Volunteers run everything here. What they cannot give is money for school materials, sanitary products, blankets and the cost of hiring a room. That is what donations are for.
